There are SO MANY new arrivals that I want to get, so the D'armee Dress was the only purchase I made yesterday. :)
Anyways, I have been thinking what to wear in Japan. I am leaving on 16th and coming back on 31st.
I am only bringing one large luggage because I will be alone with my daughter. I will have a stroller with me, and my parents are going to pick us up at the airport but my mom has a wheelchair, so there won't be enough space for more than one luggage.
Some may say it is way too early to pack, but I like to do things in advance and I would freak out if something goes wrong at the last second, so I have to be really prepared.
I have some clothes at my parents house and we will be there for two weeks, so I am only taking one tee and two tanks and some tights with me. I will be wearing the P&P Boots on the day I leave, and will have pink crocs in my backpack.
Ok, here are what I will have in Japan. (most are at my parents')
I will mainly stay home with my mom but there are couple days I plan going out.
Unlike here in California, Japan is still WINTER!! I heard it had snow few days ago. I will have Uniqlo Heat-tech long sleeve tee under the short sleeve tee! I haven't decided boots or flats. I will probably wear this outfit when I go to my hair salon, hair Qril in Kyoto!! I will blog about it later!!
Uniqlo Heat-tech will be in this outfit too of course. I had never worn the dress before and it is in my parents house. lol We'll see if it's better than the tank? or I may wear all of them if it's freezing!!
Everything in this is in Japan except the boots. I hope this will work out. I am adding black or wine tights.(and Uniqlo Heat-tech tee, too! :P )

If it's warm, I'd wear this. The season's way tee and boots are from here.
I love these flower print stocking that I got from Urban Outfitters last year. Thankfully, I bought two pairs, so I can leave a pair in Japan. I want to wear them under cropped jeans with flats.
And one day, I can wear jeans that I hardly ever wear in the states. I am not sure these jeans will fit under the boots, though..
The purple top and the both jeans are at my parents house waiting for me!!
It was fun thinking what to wear!! If you think of anything, let me know!
Well, yeah I know.. we still have two weeks til then, but I am REALLY excited!!

Hi Keiko
ReplyDeleteYou have amazing style and I enjoy reading your blog. I especially like to see how you style your Anthro pieces. Hope you have a safe trip to Japan and get to do some shopping there too. Will you blog from Japan?
Hi Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving me comment! I'm glad to know that I have more readers out there!
I will blog from Japan of course! Depends on how busy I'll be.
I want to blog about my hair salon in Kyoto that I highly recommend. I go there every time I go back!
I try not to shop much since I have big Anthro wishlist.. We'll see.. :)
Hi Keiko! I really like your style: anthropologie + Janpanese, which is a lot different from the other blogs. It's a good idea to wear something comfortable during the trip. Hope you have fun at Japan!
ReplyDeleteHi Ping!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I am glad to hear that :)
I learn styling from both US and Japan. I mix them up and create my own style!! More like.. I go back to the style I used to wear in Japan but I love Anthropologie so much that I want to dress all Anthro!!
Do you think they will have another sale this Tuesday?? I really can't miss out their sale!!
I am very jealous of you that you live very close to an anthropologie store. I have to drive 30 minutes to get to the nearest one. I try to go once every month. Sometimes I have good luck with the sale items, but very rarely... Last year, I shopped a lot online (when they still have free shipping), but I find I returned more than half of the items, so I decide never buy without trying them on since now I have to pay for the shipping... It's nice that every sale day you could go and check it out! Hope you can get some nice stuff this week :)
ReplyDeleteHi Keiko! :) I just found your blog and subscribed--I really love your style!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea to plan out trips like this! (You're so organized!) I especially love the second to last outfit. Super, super cute and so feminine.

ReplyDeletehehe.. yeah I am pretty lucky that I live so close from Anthro! They are opening Free People in the same area this Spring! That's exciting too!!
Anthro had free shipping before? I wish they do that again..
