I arrived home safely and having such a wonderful time with my parents.
Kansai area (where I live) seems fine and very peaceful.
It was snowing last night and it's way colder than I thought...
The best thing is to see my parents being so happy, laughing and loving my daughter so much. She is the only grandchild to them.
I always feel guilty leaving them Japan and moved far away to the States. Especially because my mother has a difficult disease that can not be cured.
Bringing my daughter in this world was the best thing I did for my parents. Well, of course it is the best thing I did for myself, too. :)
I am glad that your parents are safe =)

ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that you are safe in Japan now. Take care!
Hello Keiko,
ReplyDeleteEven better! You are able to post to your blog. How wonderful for your daughter and parents to spend this time together.
Bismuth is winning! I will announce the winner tomorrow morning.
Be careful! Enjoy your family visit! laura
Hi Keiko! So glad that you and your family are safe. I have family in Osaka and Okinawa, so they are safe too. I understand your feelings--I don't know how my mother left to live in the U.S. But atleast it seems, you remain very close with your parents and make it a point to visit, and they get to see their grandbaby!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I gave you a Versatile Blogger Award! http://theanthropologicalshopper.blogspot.com/2011/03/versatile-blogger-award.html
